Mirror, mirror on the wall, who has the best burger of all?
From May 27 through June 2, 13 restaurants will compete in the inaugural Ghent Burger Week. Loyal patrons and hamburger fanatics alike are encouraged to visit each participating restaurant to chow-down on these handheld menu items where each restaurant has either put forth their best or created something completely unique. Prices vary depending on restaurant.
Patrons and fans then cast their VOTE by scanning a QR code at any participating establishment or by visiting GhentNorfolk.org in two categories: Best Burger and Most Creative Burger.
Winners will be announced via Ghent Business Association’s social media.
Instead of a traditional restaurant week, the Ghent Business Association (GBA) is presenting a series of themed events to promote its food service membership. In addition to Ghent Burger Week, the GBA will serve-up Ghent Taco Week (August 5-11), Ghent Bowls Week (anything served in a bowl, November 4-11), and Ghent Vegetarian Week (January 13-19, 2025).

The NoCo Burger
Cogans seasoned burger patty, with Hank’s country ham fried hard, fresh mozzarella cheese melted to perfection, topped with sweet peppers and a pesto drizzle on a garlic buttered, toasted brioche bun.

Craft’s Smash Burger topped with crispy panko crusted fried mac & cheese, Tillamook cheddar, house pickles and burger sauce.
