“Havana Nights”

February 6

7 PM

Decorum Furniture

Art and music aficionados will be celebrating in nostalgic Cuban-inspired style at “Havana Nights,” the Tidewater Arts Outreach (TAO) 2016 Instruments of Art event at Decorum Furniture, 301 W. 21st St. in Ghent on Saturday, February 6, from 7-10 p.m.
The Decorum galleries will be reminiscent of a vibrant hacienda as owners Claus Ihlemann and Robert Roman host TAO’s annual Instruments of Art Celebration and Auction for the second year. The event features imaginative artwork, live and silent auctions, live music and dancers.
More than three dozen regional artists, including Vinnie Bumatay, Clayton Singleton, Skye Zentz and Eric Worden, have transformed musical instruments into exquisite works of art, showcasing the distinctive talent of each artist. The entire collection can be seen online beginning in mid-January at www.TidewaterArtsOutreach.org <http://www.tidewaterartsoutreach.org/>.

Admission to the event includes tapas a la Cubana and a pair of drink tickets. Music will be provided by Rhythmania, with dancers from the Mambo Room.
Dress is cocktail attire, and guests are encouraged to model their finest Cuban flair. Tickets are $45 in advance/$55 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online. Connect to www.TidewaterArtsOutreach.org or Facebook, or call 757-965-5155 for more information.
All proceeds benefit Tidewater Arts Outreach.
