The 2018 Veer Music Awards will he held Tuesday, February 13 at the Waterside District in downtown Norfolk. The presentation of awards in 34 categories ranging from R&B, hip hop, jazz, country, rock and folk to World Music, blues, indie-pop and open mic night will begin at 7 PM sharp. The estimated two hour program will also include awards for Album of the Year, EP of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Video of the Year. Additional awards will be presented to Mike Williams (Musician’s Musician Award), Kelly Murphy & Mitch Kirsner (Industry Award), and Waxing Poetics (Lifetime Achievement Award). Admission is FREE.
